Texas Parkour needs a certification process for our leaders, directors and volunteers, many were asking for this so we are going to go out on a limb. This program is designed to certify coaches for Texas Parkour Inc. If anyone would like to take the course for fun we allow and encourage members to attend.  RSVP HERE ON FACEBOOK

The certification broken up into two sessions. It will starting with a physical examination followed by a second day of:
-Coaching Specifics


-Class Breakdowns


-Spotting


-Coaching Techniques AND MORE

Saturday 11-6-2010 
-Arrive 10am to 2pm

Sunday 11-7-2010
-Arrive 10am tp 3pm

I'd love to but Austin is too far for me im stuck in Ft worth and Dallas. well someone should film this thing though.

I am just more of thinking I am probably not ready for it If I was closer then I would still go out but the cost to get up there and the attempt would be like $100...

what do you think a good lvl would be? i used to teach martial arts for 4 years and im pretty fit

hey so are u saying that if someone says they arent ready they shouldn't try? come on! its probably just like training at first u think u might not be able to do it but u still try any way...then succeed

Its still the mental side of it though Kyle...If you think you are not ready then your probably not ready...

Here is what I have to say, of course we will have more when more people are interested. Everyone has different motivations for training Parkour. Please do not let something like a silly old certification drive you to be better. Try your best and be better for yourself.

This cert is not designed to push people *it will push people however* but it was not designed for that. It was designed to let us know you care enough about TXPK to push yourself and learn, so that you can...TEACH OTHERS. It is our Training Seminar for volunteers...the coolest training seminar ever!!

no risk no reward. i may just teach younger kids from 5-13 but still they are doing good and ive never even thought parkour to any one before im just saying if anyone who wants to try they should, even if they're "not ready" if u dont try how will u ever succeed???

This is perfect. I'm just about to set up a little community in College Station!

I may need a ride from College Station if my car isn't working by then. I'm almost certain I'm the only one coming from there, but if anyone is kind enough to go out of their way a bit, I'd pay you gas $$ and tell you that you're the greatest!
