Yamakasi founders & Parkour Generations come to USA, May 28-30

Check out the Email Texas Parkour Just got in their inbox:

The world’s leading practitioners of parkour will come from Europe to Columbus, Ohio over Memorial Day weekend to lead a three day seminar. The London based Parkour Generations and the Paris group Majestic Force, which includes some of the renowned Yamakasi — the founders of parkour — are the featured attractions of a collaborative event hosted by Parkour Horizons of Columbus.
“American Rendezvous” will mark the first time the Yamakasi founders have taught in the United States, and will also be the first time since 2008 that Parkour Generations has taught stateside.

The first day of training, Friday (May 28), will be held in Hocking Hills State Park, with Saturday and Sunday (May 29 and 30) taking place at Battelle Riverfront Park in downtown Columbus. Parkour Generations held training sessions at these venues during the 2008 Memorial Day Exposition with great success and look forward to revisiting the training locations.
Opportunities to be trained by Parkour Generations and the Yamakasi founders are few and far between outside of Europe, so be sure to take advantage of this invaluable opportunity!

*Update*

Registration for American Rendezvous will close on May 9th! This gives you just under three weeks to reserve your

spot if you are planning on coming. Also, we have confirmed a seventh additional instructor. Chris Keighley, of

Parkour Generations will be in attendance, along with the aforementioned: Yann Hnautra, Chau Belle, Laurent

Piemontesi, Stephane Vigroux, Dan Edwardes, Chris "Blane" Rowat, and Julie Angel.

Austin's total count right now is 7 people that are carpooling in one car. There might be some flyers. Does San Antonio have a count!?

I live in Lake Charles LA, and I do not want to pass up this opportunity. I would be willing to drive to meet people somewhere in Texas for carpooling. If anyone is interested, please reply.

Today is the last day of registration for American Rendezvous! Be sure not to miss out on this extremely rare training opportunity. It is now confirmed we will be bringing one of the female instructors from the UK (probably Annty Marais), and depending on how many reservations we get today, possibly another additional instructor, which would bring the total to 10 people coming from overseas!

* The first opportunity to train with the Yamakasi founders in the U.S.
* 15:1 student to instructor ratio on Saturday & Sunday, 10:1 on Friday
* Training at scenic Old Man’s Cave
* One of the largest parkour seminars ever held in the States
* Film presentation by Julie Angel, Chris “Blane” Rowat & the Yamakasi founders
* Q&A sessions with the Yamakasi founders & Parkour Generations
