Water. Its very important. Your body consists of over 70% of it, so naturally, if you don’t have enough of it in your system, then the system doesn’t work to full capacity. I’ve been training out in this 90 degree weather for awhile and apparently haven’t been drinking enough water, because I’ve felt like I’ve been really been paying for it during the last two days. My calves feel like they are cramping up every time I take a step. Walking from class to class was especially painful today because of this, and I kind of fell over a second ago because it was easier than walking, so DRINK WATER!!! In addition to soreness, dehydration will often give you a headache and make you tired.
Gatorade is good for electrolyte replacement too.
